Third Thursday Women's Open Mic Talent Showcase

Welcome in the New Year January 15 at Third Thursday women's open mic talent showcase at the
$7 at the door.

This is an all-women event and all women are welcome.

Our Feature will be the spirited vocal ensemble, GIRLFRIENDZ. Directed, and accompanied on the piano, by jazz vocalist ELLEN ROBINSON, they are known for their joyous, tight harmonies. Their eclectic repertoire spans the decades and runs the musical gamut from jazz to rock, folk to pop, R&B to Broadway. Their high-energy stage presence includes choreography and commentary on the songs. Audiences often sing along with familiar tunes. And...as a special treat we will open the evening with the gifted acoustic guitar player, RONNDA CADLE, who will be in the Bay Area on tour!

AND...the heart and soul of Third Thursday: YOU, as either performer or audience member. Drop in for some laughs and bring your songs, poems, prose, instruments, voice or any other talent you might have. Each performer has 5 minutes to do their thing, sometimes more in the second half if time allows. It is an evening rich with entertainment.

PERFORMANCE SIGN-UP is at 7 pm, show is from 7:30 to 10:00 with an intermission. To assure your spot, email ahead and get there before 7:30 A cappella, acoustic, or plugged in are all welcome. We have a small sound system.
